When I was converting my Mod to run pump gas It took me some trial and error, and asking others alot of questions to get it how it is now. So when I converted my Sled last season I put togeather tutorials of everything I did so that when people ask how to do this or that, its all right here for them (with pics)
Chapter 1 - HEADS
This is for Changing the 800 Mod heads with the 800HO heads to lower the compression so you can run 91octane

Chapter 2 - MAIN JETS
This if for those of us running the 38mm mikuni carbs that came with most 800Mods Most of it applys to all carbs, but this was done on mine, and I kept the Mod carbs.

Chapter 3 - FUEL TANK
This one I have not done yet because I found that even with the 2 gal tank, I can usualy get almost an hour as long as Im not driving really hard (if you want to go for long trips get a trial sled) I'll post it as I make it
note: there are male and female caps, vented and unvented, and the tanks have different groves in the bottom for the heat exchangers
Chapter X - OTHER
This is where I put the changes that don't warrent a full chapter. This one includes:
-How to get the computer reprogrammed
-Holeshot button
-Pre-filters

Later on in the season I will hopefully be adding more, such as removing the cone in the Mod pipes (takes longer to warm up the pipes, but keeps the engine cooler) and clutching changes, Heat exchangers, Studs, Painting, etc. Hope this helped some.
